BioMedical Technology Solutions (BMTL.OB) Pursuing International Markets and Domestic Rental Distribution of Demolizer® II

BioMedical Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. (BMTS) announced today that they have come to terms for a collaborative effort with International Medical Waste Services (IMWS) to pursue international distribution and domestic rental distribution of BioMedical’s Demolizer® II System.
IMWS is led by former BMTS Director and General Counsel, Gex F. Richardson. Mr. Richardson recently resigned his positions at BMTS to direct all his energies towards IMWS and the distribution of the Demolizer® II. The initial focus for international distribution will begin in South America. Mr. Richardson and his team have been working with the Department of Commerce who is assisting in the efforts to take the only “green” method of biomedical waste worldwide. As part of the IMWS business plan, Mr. Richardson is developing and unique rental program which will allow hundreds of thousands of potential customers to rent the Demolizer® II System for the safe, simple, and secure onsite treatment of their medical waste at a fraction of the cost they are currently paying for third-party hauling services.
Don Cox, President and CEO of BMTS, stated, “While we will miss Gex as a Board Member, we are very excited to have him and his team as distributors. Their extensive backgrounds and contacts in the waste industry, coupled with their years of international business and trade experience will be a valuable asset for our growth and the international promotion of the Demolizer® II System.” Mr. Cox continued, “While we are presently making solid headway in our U.S. sales and conducting ongoing meetings with government agencies and major health corporations, we have only begun to tap the potential of rentals. The domestic rental market is extremely large and we believe that the team at IMWS will be a tremendous asset as we continue to expand our footprint in the industry.”
BioMedical Technologies has been seeing recent sales success in domestic distribution of their system through contracts with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group. “Green” technologies are becoming more and more prevalent in our society today and large corporations are realizing that the Demolizer® II System not only can provide a significant cost savings, but is environmentally friendly. Where typical disposal involves the removal of the biomedical waste by a third party, the patented, compact and portable Demolizer® II System heats both sharps and typical red bag biomedical waste onsite without chemicals or liquids so it is rendered sterile and can be disposed of safely as common trash. The System meets or exceeds all EPA and CDC guidelines and is approved or meets treatment requirements in 48 states after review by 80 governmental agencies.
U.S. Healthworks, in collaboration with national Demolizer® II distributor, Henry Schein Medical Distribution, recently completed a three-month, multi-state trial of the System. As a result of the trial, U.S. Healthworks has begun purchasing the Demolizer® II Systems with an initial order of 10 systems to be placed in some of their locations. U.S. HealthWorks has nearly 160 centers in 15 states across the country.
Joseph Mallas, EVP of Operations for U.S.HealthWorks, stated, “Usage of the Demolizer® II has helped us lower the cost of biomedical waste management by 70%, exceeding our initial projected savings. We are looking forward to rolling this out to more of our centers nationwide.”
BMTL, an extremely low float stock with only approximately 5 million freely tradable shares, is trading at $.20 today. More information on BioMedical Technology Solutions, its proprietary Demolizer® II System and the investment opportunity presented can be found on the Company’s website at www.bmtscorp.com. This is a stock worthy of a closer look as it appears to have a huge upside.
