Naked Brand Group, Inc. (OTCQB: NAKD) said Friday that its Naked Boxer Brief has been selected by Men’s Health for its online guide, “Affordable Spring Style Guide 100 under $100.” The guide was published on MensHealth.com on March 20. This is the second time the company has been featured in the men’s mag in as many months.
Naked’s products, which are sold in more than 150 locations in North America, including Nordstrom (NYSE: JWN) and Holt Renfrew, were also featured in a February 8 article titled, “What Your Underwear Says About the Economy.”
The company’s Naked Boxer Brief manufactured with Italian MicroModal fiber sells for $46 on the www.theNakedShop.com. Men’s Health says that the trunks, “Keep everything in its place during your circuit-training workout.”

Naked has been ramping-up its marketing initiatives seemingly to capitalize on the national exposure it has been receiving and a growing trend of direct-to-consumer sales. The company has brought in Brian Johnson as a senior sales strategist and account manager and has also revamped its website, including an improved shopping cart in the past two months.
Additionally, Naked Brand is taking the steps to expand its offerings with a new women’s collection of lingerie expected to hit retailers in the U.S. and Canada in January 2014. The company currently has no women’s products on the market.
A newly traded issue, shares of NAKD have swung as high as $1.30 and as low as 70 cents in its brief history of active trading in the past month or so. Shares have been climbing off of the 70-cent lows last Tuesday to be back trading at $1.10 in early activity on Monday.
