FireIce is a patent pending fire suppressant used for direct attack of fires as well as a medium term retardant for structure protection. FireIce can be used in all types of apparatus; fire extinguishers, pumper trucks, aerial units for wildfires and home defense units for personal home protection.
GelTech will also be looking to broaden its footprint domestically and abroad with its Soil₂O product, a non-toxic soil conditioner and a dust abatement product. Sales kicked-off in April with an initial order from  West Chester Machinery, one of the largest privately-owned truck rental fleets engaged in controlling dust in construction and other commercial sites in North America.
“We are pleased to receive and process the first order from our Turkish distributor and look forward to their aggressive plan to bring FireIce and Soilâ‚‚O to market in Turkey,” said GelTech CEO Michael Cordani in a corporate statement.  “We continue to believe that the current Turkish fire remediation legislation only re-affirms the need for our product.”
Shares of GLTC closed Monday at 94 cents.
